As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, we recently visited the Aashray Care Home in Jaipur—a sanctuary of hope and resilience for children affected by HIV and AIDS.
A Legacy of Care and Compassion
Aashray Care Home was established in 2006 by the Positive Women Network of Rajasthan. Born out of a dire need to address the harassment and stigma faced by children living with HIV, the care home serves as a haven for some of the most vulnerable members of society. Many of these children are single or double orphans, facing profound challenges that necessitate specialized care and support.
During our visit, we had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Sushila, the Founder of Aashray Care Home. She shared the inspiring journey of the organization—from its humble beginnings to the incredible impact it has made over the years. Mrs. Sushila spoke about the immense challenges these children face, including social discrimination and health issues, and highlighted the care home’s unwavering dedication to providing emotional, educational, and medical support. She also proudly shared stories of the children's accomplishments, including academic achievements and the personal milestones they have reached against all odds.
A Day of Joy and Connection
The day was filled with warmth, joy, and heartfelt moments. We were greeted by the children with radiant smiles and infectious enthusiasm. The highlight of the visit was an enchanting series of dance performances by the children, each brimming with talent and creativity. Inspired by their energy, members of B-TRNSFRMD joined in the celebrations, dancing alongside the children and creating a sense of unity and shared happiness.
Our CEO and Founder, Gans Subramanian, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the importance of community collaboration in fostering a better future for the next generation. His message resonated deeply, reinforcing the alignment of our CSR goals with the mission of Aashray Care Home.
